Xavier Balboa

Mission Lead

[ back to team ]

Xavier Balboa, Mission Lead, works at the intersection of mission operations, technology, data, and human performance. He serves as a bridge between the people operating in demanding environments and the teams building the technology designed to support them. In his role, Xavier helps translate operational needs into actionable requirements, supports implementation and adoption, tracks outcomes, and ensures feedback from the field reaches product and engineering teams.

Xavier’s professional journey is shaped by both military service and technology. Before joining Kognitiv Edge, he supported the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command’s Army Research Office, helping coordinate programs, requirements, and mission support across government and contracting teams. Earlier in his career, Xavier served as an Airborne Infantryman in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, an experience that continues to influence his leadership style and understanding of the people behind the mission.

Academically, Xavier earned a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating summa cum laude. He is continuing his education through the University of Michigan - Ross School of Business, where he is pursuing his MBA.

Outside of work, Xavier enjoys traveling, staying active, following college football, and spending time with family and friends. He is especially passionate about continuous growth and believes that meaningful technology starts with understanding the people who rely on it. At Kognitiv Edge, Xavier is energized by the opportunity to help transform fragmented data into meaningful insight. His goal is simple: help clients make better decisions, strengthen readiness, and ensure technology delivers real value to the mission.
