Nathan Lauder, Software Engineer, specializes in Web Development and DevOps at Kognitiv Edge. Nathan started his career as an Associate Software Engineer with JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he was heavily relied on for API integration and data services while collaborating on proper industry-level architecture and design principles with his lead developers. He joined us at Kognitiv Edge in April of 2024 where he has been a key player since.
Nathan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Creighton University with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science. In college, he spent some of his free time competing in programming contests where he was invited as a regional finalist to the North American National Collegiate Programming Competition. Nathan was later named the Top Computer Science Student of the Year as a senior. Letting his achievements fuel him, he took his tenacity to Chase where he was recognized for exceptional work in the Software Engineer Program during his first few months with the company.
When Nathan is not laboring over his most recent bug, he is usually in the kitchen. As an avid bread-lover, he enjoys making everything from sandwich loaves to bagels in addition to the meals around them. He is just as precise with his recipes as can be expected from an engineer; his food scale is one of his best friends.
Nathan is driven by his love of building things and desire for perfection in doing so. He is forever inspired by the words of Sean Gerety, “The technology you use impresses no one. The experience you create with it is everything.” He has brought this passion to Kognitiv Edge where he utilizes his skillset to build innovative technology which will truly impact and transform the defense industry.
