Meaghan Baker is a Software Development Engineer I at Kognitiv Edge, where she is excited to create software that informs humans so they can make better decisions. She develops and maintains applications which transform current processes into more efficient and resilient methods.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Western Michigan University. She also minored in Dance and Cybersecurity which led to her earning a Network+ certification. While pursuing her degree, she completed a capstone with the Air Force Research Lab to create a safer self-driving vehicle with the CARLA simulator by implementing control barrier functions.
Prior to Meaghan starting at Kognitiv Edge, she gained experience at Western Michigan Homer Stryker School of Medicine as a Junior Web Developer. In this position, she created projects which utilized APIs from applications such as Let’s Encrypt and Zenworks Service Desk to create automations for certification and inventory management.
Outside of work, Meaghan enjoys crafting, line dancing, and spending time with her cat, Clara. With her being a newcomer to Minnesota, there is lots for her to check out in the state and the areas around it.
