During his time there, he contributed to multiple initiatives focused on modernizing and improving the company’s software platform. One of his most notable contributions was supporting the modernization of the company’s front-end architecture, helping transition legacy interfaces to a modern React and TypeScript framework while also contributing to backend services and APIs. This experience allowed him to develop a broad technical skillset spanning Rust, Kotlin, React, TypeScript, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and ETL pipeline development.
Outside of work, Dominick enjoys PC gaming and building custom computers, fishing, and following his favorite NHL team, the Carolina Hurricanes. He lives with his girlfriend and their two cats, Mikey and Momo.
Dominick is excited to be part of the Kognitiv Edge team, where he can work with cutting-edge government technologies while contributing to the mission and continued growth of a fast-moving and innovative startup.
